Challenge me!
I feel like I'm falling into a slump. I haven't even taken my camera out since Saturday. So, to anyone who reads this, please give me a challenge! It can be something to capture, a technique to try, a photoshop thing, whatever. I'm open to any idea and I'll give anything and everything that's suggested a try. And I'll of course post my results. Hopefully this can be something we all can try if we feel inspiration-less :)

Ellen, I am realy enjoying all your stuff, so fresh and fun. I too am going through a dry spell. Lets see... I saw this once and wanted to do it, but basically you find letters in objects, maybe you could try something like that.

I am slumping too after a rubbish set of portraits for a friend. How about checking out JSO assignments on ILP? I've found some fun stuff in there. Or shoot the alphabet for a month. Or set yourself a colour a day for a week and photograph scenes prominently red/green/pink w/e....it's fun!

This is a fun pic too!

See you, love Lulu. :)

I saw someone here post a few images once of an ice cube falling into a glass. She was working on shutter speed. It was awesome! I haven't been able to duplicate her attempst though - argh! Maybe you could?!!

I know how you feel. Maybe you could take your camera with you everywhere for a day and just photograph everything that catches your eye? It would definitely be interesting. Spring is just starting here and some flowers are coming up, so if it's the same where you live you could photograph them too!
Good luck :)

Have you ever heard of "12 of 12"?

Go here.

Scroll down to the second post and you'll see what it's all about. I would LOVE to see your 12 of 12 this month!

P.S.
Your pictures of Jen are wonderful, and it's awesome to finally see a pic of you, you hottie!

I hear ya! I'm nearing day 100 for my POTD and feeling the rut too. I did just switch to RAW, which has been interesting. Not really helped my photography- but giving me something new to learn! :) lol

Thanks, guys!!

Julie: That's an awesome idea and I've been searching for letters everywhere since I read your comment. Haven't got any pictures yet, but I will soon!

Lulu: I knew I could count on you ;) Great ideas, I'm sure I'll be putting them all to use at some point. Those daily challenges are really good, I've fallen out of practice with them..

Louisa: That sounds really cool! I'll definitely give it a try. Maybe that's a good excuse to buy a nice glass ;)

Rebekah: You're so right, I should just carry my camera around and see what I find. I'm usually too lazy since it's kind of heavy, but I'll have to force myself.

Meghan: The 12 of 12 looks like a really cool idea. I will do my best to try it out his month, so come back on.. the 13th I guess. Thanks for the comments on the other post, I wasn't sure if anyone actually realized it was me! :)

Amy: Wow, that's amazing that you've done 100 days. I think I did 2 lol.. I waffle back and forth between RAW and jpeg, but I've been thinking I should just choose RAW and go with it. And of course I'll have to practice.. So that's some motivation!

Thanks again, everyone. I've been having a bad couple of days, but visitors here always cheer me up!

A change in perspective. If you normally photograph a scene from ground level, try shooting it from the top of a double decker bus or something.

Or photograph flames. Buy some candles, and shoot those.

(I found a link to your Blog via Meghan's Blog reading, and liked your photos :-) ).

Lol! I'm going to try to do the 12 of 12. Although I think the 12th of April will be a very boring day... I'll have to make it interesting, good excuse!
