Fruit: A poem.
Thanks for the inspiration, Dr. Seuss. This is an ode to my favourite fruit when I'm late for school and need something to eat as I run out the door!

Ok, I don't know why you don't have a gazillion comments on this already, because your poem made my day! How cute was that??? LOVED it, especially the wonderful photography (and of course, the banana)! My baby DD calls them "nannies" for short. Thank you for always stopping by my blog, too. ;) ~SherriS

ok, you're a photographer and a comedy writer!!! :) this is great!

the fruit pictures are great. is the white background something you did in ps?

i love the shadow behind the apple, the couple of blue stains with the blueberries and the bokeh with your banana. banana bokeh is the best! lol

when you're a SNL skit writer, I will say i knew you!

Lol! Thanks guys :)

I had so much fun doing this, once I started I just kept going. Actually it all began with the banana that I wanted to honour... Mmm and it was so fun eating all the fruit after photographing it! Pure bliss. Even the starfruit was good (I've always heard that it tastes terrible).

The fruit was just outside on a bedsheet... I made the white a bit whiter with levels, but not by much. I actually have no idea what I'm doing with a white background, so these aren't uniform or anything. But as you know I always like to try new things :)

Thanks again for all your comments, I love reading them! (And Lottie, you're 100% correct. Your comment had me in stitches! Love ya back of course, i.e. shut the door)

Ellen, you are amazing at making up stories with your photography! You should definitely print them as books, at least so you can read them the kids you babysit!
I would love to do something like this... now if only I could think of an idea...

Also, thanks for the comment on my blog! I'm glad the pictures from Fundy evoked some memories for you... My memories of the ocean are always happy ones and I love hearing others'. :)
